Hello, I'm Donald

  • Is something getting in the way of doing the things you love or the things you have to do?

  • Is poor sleep keeping you from that early morning at the gym or getting to work on time? Is anxiety preventing you from leaving the house or advancing in your career?

  • Do you struggle to get your “To Do” list done?

  • Do you feel in a constant state of burn out? What if you could make functional changes to your day to day life and have a life more worth living?

If you answered yes to any of these, I have good news: Occupational therapy can help you in a systematic and outcome driven method. As an Adult Mental Health Occupational Therapist (OT), I work alongside you to participate in more of the activities you find meaningful, and I can tell you that Occupational Therapy is more than health care, it is wellness promotion.

I have worked in mental health for 10 years and my passion is working with people to live the life they want to live. I am a strengths-based practitioner meaning I work with clients to identify strengths they can use to overcome barriers, whether the barrier is depression, anxiety or a feeling of being overwhelmed by life. We all have strengths to draw upon to overcome, sometimes we just need some guidance to recognize and develop these further. In my spare time I enjoy endurance sports, music and being outdoors with my family.

I also offer a specialized service, "Sensory Processing Assessment & Intervention," which identifies sensory processing patterns and the impact of different sensory processing patterns on functional performance. Following the assessment session, l provide a sensory customized Sensory Kit, and two Sensory Profile Intervention sessions are used to learn how to enhance function through sensory processing. I am happy to explain more about it in a free consult.

I have daytime/afternoon/ evening availability on a variable schedule and offer free consultations - click the "Book an Appointment" button below to find a time that works for you. I look forward to connecting with you!
