Lifespan Integration Therapy Online in BC.

WHAT IS LIFESPAN INTEGRATION THERAPY?

Lifespan Integration is a newly developed, gentle, body-based therapy that helps the mind & nervous system process and integrate stuck points/ traumas/ past experiences. It is often used to support trauma, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. Lifespan Integration works by helping connect past experiences with present awareness in a safe and structure way. At Kayda Health, RCC Vanessa Thomson offers Online Lifespan Integration, providing a supportive approach to healing.

WHAT MAKES LIFESPAN INTEGRATION DIFFERENT FROM OTHER THERAPIES?

Lifespan Integration Therapy works through a repetitive process of walking through life’s visual timeline to allow memory resurfacing, pattern recognition, clearing of body memory, and re-building of self structure. This can involve imagery, and/or bridging between the past and present. It's very different from traditional talk therapy, as the process involves relating between one's adult-self and child-state while mentally watching multiple movies of your life; each a new rendition of the same life story. This allows the brain to shift and move towards spontaneous change so that memory fragments which have been disruptive or overwhelming get managed differently. Thus, emotional or trauma healing is allowed by the neural system to complete.

WHAT ARE THE POTENTIAL OUTCOMES WITH LIFESPAN INTEGRATION?

Heal Trauma: Feel safe and present.

The LI time flow repetition process lands traumatized and dysregulated people in the here and now, allowing them to deeply know: You are safe now, and don’t need the outmoded defense strategies you carry from the past.

Improve Self-Concept: Uncover your Unified Self.

Strengthening neural connections creates clarity in how a person map themself in this space and time. They will know who they really are in a profound way.

Change Responses: Feel Better.

You can expect to feel better about life, be more self accepting and have more self worth, feel like your life makes sense, see shifts in your patterned responses, and be better able to enjoy intimate relationships.

WHAT LIFESPAN INTEGRATION CAN HELP WITH

LI is effective for anyone of any age who is able to see imagery in their mind. It is a gentle Body Based healing option which has shown to be effective for issues such as PTSD, anxiety, stress, burnout, feeling stuck, self-concept or self-esteem enhancement. It can be a fantastic alternative for people who have tried talk therapy, or other types of therapy, and hit a plateau, or for people entirely new to therapy.
