  • check their specific policy to see if the type of therapy they receive is covered (ie. individual, couples, family, group, etc.),

  • pay any outstanding fees that direct billing does not cover. This may include, but is not limited to:

    • when benefit coverage is maxed for the year,

Please Note: Although these insurers do not currently allow Kayda Health to offer direct billing, clients whose benefits cover therapy with Clinical Counsellors can pay out of pocket and submit their receipts to their insurance plan for reimbursement. It is the client's responsibility to check their plan to see if Clinical Counsellors are covered.

  • Exceptional Circumstance: In rare cases, such as when someone is on a long/short-term disability claim, an insurer may be willing to initiate a specialized contract allowing the clinician/ the clinic to collect the full regular fee for service - please reach out to your insurance plan to inquire about this option. Should you & your insurer be interested in this option, please have them email connect@kaydahealth.ca to arrange the contract and let them know that payment should be issued to KAYDA Health.
