Grief & Life Transition Counselling.

Grief, loss, relationship changes, physical moves, career shifts, or other significant changes can leave people feeling destabilized, searching for a new sense of direction, and displaced in their own life. These situations can emerge in many forms, sometimes showing up in unexpected ways or at unexpected times. You might be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or struggling to find your footing in this new stage - in fact, 85% of people report significant emotional and physical symptoms during major life transitions.

About 40% of adults experience major life transitions or losses each year that significantly impact their emotional wellbeing. While in most cases this will resolve with or without therapy in about 6 months, it can really help to have a safe and non-judgmental professional to support you through (therapy has been shown to reduce symptoms of grief and depression by about 50% compared to those who don't seek support), and around 10-20% of people who experience significant loss develop prolonged grief that benefits from professional support.

Our team creates a compassionate, gentle, nurturing space where you can process these changes at your own pace. We know that people who engage in therapy during major life transitions report better adjustment, increased resilience, and improved ability to cope with future challenges, and it is our honour to walk this path with you.

Meet our team to see who can help with this (the below team members have a special focus on supporting grief, loss, and transitions):
